A classic 'Covid' puppy - so anxious from being separated from people that she had to take Prozac for 2 years!

It was a quiet moment on the highway when the Rascal Flatts song “My Wish” came on the radio.
The lyrics hit me like a ton of bricks:
“My wish for you is that this life becomes all that you want it to… Your dreams stay big, your worries stay small.”
I turned to my then-boyfriend and asked, “Do you think we want the same things?”
His response?
“Yeah, I think so. We’ll live together and see how it goes.”

We’d been together for four years.
Was I still just a trial run?
That was the last day I saw him.
But it was also the day a fire lit inside me, a fire to find a love that was all in.
A love that didn’t keep me guessing or doubting.
A love that prioritized me enough to say, “You’re the one.”
Fast forward to today:
I’ve been married to the love of my life for 15 years.
But here’s the truth, our journey hasn’t been perfect.
I’ve struggled with relationship anxiety, self-doubt, and the fear of not being enough. I’ve sabotaged moments of joy with worries that didn’t serve me or my marriage.
Then came the breakthrough.
My husband overheard a conversation I was having with a friend, one filled with doubts and comparisons.
He looked me in the eye and said, “You need to make big changes.”
It wasn’t easy to hear, but it was the wake-up call I needed.
I surrendered the fears and behaviors that were holding me back. I cut out the doubts, the overthinking, and even the wine (and trust me, that’s commitment!)
